Thank you to everyone who braved a wild, wet, windy night in Hobart, Tasmania for the official Australian launch of A Week Without Tuesday. It was brilliant to see 200+ people in pj’s squeezed into the beautiful new Moonah Arts Centre. The vercaka was flying above, the vocals were soaring from our new song “Can You Imagine” written by Rowan Smith and sung by Bee Smith (coming soon to this website), perfect MC’ing from Vivienne Small and Blake Luckhurst, with 4 brilliant reviews from our young readers and a beautiful launch speech by the Gardener. Thank you our beloved Fullers Book Shop for all your support – and Sean Kelly and team at the Moonah Arts Centre for your hospitality. It was an unforgettable night – especially seeing all those young writers taking inspiration from the idea that writing, creativity and collaboration is fun!
