Book Week!
Hello everybody and happy Book Week! It’s been a very busy time here in the world of Tuesday McGillycuddy. We have been putting the final touches to Book 3 in the Tuesday McGillycuddy series (due out in Australia next year!).
Meanwhile Book Week has come around! We’ve already seen some wonderful book week parades – and done a school visit or two. Today Angelica Banks was at the wonderful Waimea Heights Primary School. More school visits coming up. If you’d like us to come to your school, please have your teacher email us through out Contact page.
Last week, in the lead up to Book Week, we had the great pleasure of doing Reading Hour at the LINC (State Library) in Hobart. There was even pizza and hot chocolate! As you’ll see in the photos below, Vivienne Small and Baxterr made a special appearance, as did our intrepid interviewer Lawrence. And Angelica Banks wore her wigs and red shoes.
We hope to see you on a school visit soon! Also coming up is the Tasmanian Writers Festival September 11-13 in Hobart. Please come along and get your books signed – or just say hello! More soon!
